Presbyterian Healthcare is now Tobacco-Free!

For the health and safety of our patients, visitors, and employees, Presbyterian Healthcare is tobacco-free campus-wide.  This decision was made in order to promote better health for our patients, visitors, and employees.  This change further aligns us with our mission of improving the health of our communities, one person at a time.

This change effective April 2, 2007, affects Presbyterian Hospital-Charlotte,Presbyterian Orthopaedic Hospital, Presbyterian Hospital Matthews, Presbyterian Hospital Huntersville, and all Presbyterian affiliated physician practices.

If you are interested in quitting smoking, please talk to your healthcare provider about your options.

In addition, Presbyterian Healthcare offers the community the Solutions for Smokers program offered by the Presbyterian Center for Preventive Cardiology.  This program provides practical help and advice-plus plenty of tips and tricks to help build your resolve and kick the habit.
