Patients of FCP Founders Hall can now obtain echocardiograms when needed. With our facility's new echocardiography technology, these tests can evaluate the valves and chambers of the heart in a non-invasive manner.

An echocardiogram is a test that uses ultrasound to examine the heart. In addition to providing single-dimension images that allow accurate measurement of the heart chambers, the echocardiogram also offers far more sophisticated and advanced imaging of the beating heart.

The echocardiogram allows our physicians to evaluate heart murmurs, check the pumping function of the heart and evaluate patients who have had heart attacks. It is a very good screening test for heart disease in certain groups of patients.
