Billing:
We will gladly file your charges with your insurance carrier. If payment has not been received within 45 days of filing, the patient will be notified and asked to contact their insurance company.

Billing for Tests:
Labs and other tests performed outside our office will be billed by the entity performing the test.

Insurance Plans:
We accept assignment for most major insurance plans. Please contact your insurance carrier to confirm that First Charlotte Physicians is a provider.

Medicare Coverage:
We do accept assignment for and file Medicare for our patients.

ABN Waivers:
Some tests deemed necessary for your care may not be covered by Medicare. If this is the case, you will be informed of the test and the reasons for performing it. You will then be asked to sign an ABN waiver stating the possibility of non-coverage was explained and that you may be billed for the test.
