Medical Plaza Family Physicians works with a billing service called HRA. HRA submits claims to the insurance companies and sends monthly statements to our patients. Please contact HRA at (704) 941-6465 for all questions relating to your account. 

Billing for Tests: The majority of radiology and laboratory services are performed by a Presbyterian facility. These facilities are located conveniently in our building. Presbyterian bills for these services and will file a claim with your insurance company when you provide your insurance ID card at the time of registration.

Insurance Plans: We accept most health insurance plans, including Medicare and Medicaid.
 Medicare Coverage: We accept Medicare and file charges with Medicare.

ABN Waivers: There are certain tests that Medicare may not cover. In circumstances where Medicare may not cover a test you may be asked to review the information relating to the test ordered, receive information about an estimate of the cost of the test and decide if you want to have the test done or not. If you agree to have the test done and Medicare does not cover this you will be financially responsible for the charges.

Co-Pay: Your employer and your health insurance company has determined what your co-pay is. You will be asked to pay your co-pay at the time of registration.
