About Our Practice

Appointments
Learn about office policies including office hours and procedures for new patients as well as how to schedule or cancel visits.

Check In:
Appointments are scheduled during regular business hours. Please bring your insurance card as we will need a copy of your card at every visit. Well visits generally need to be scheduled a few weeks in advance. Recheck appointments may be scheduled within a few days. We have same day sick visit appointments available. Calling ahead allows you greater opportunity to schedule appointments with a provider of your choosing and at a time that best suits your needs.

New Patients:
We ask that new patients arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled appointment time in order to complete paperwork. Please bring your insurance card. Please have your previous medical and vaccine records sent to our office before your visit. We will not be able to administer vaccines without a current vaccine record.

Office Hours:
Appointments are scheduled Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.  The Charlotte Office is open for both Charlotte Office and Pineville Office patients on Saturday and Sunday mornings and most holidays from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon.  Weekend and holiday office hours are for sick appointments only.

Confirmation and Cancellation:
We ask that you cancel or reschedule your appointment at least 24 hours prior to your appointment time. You will receive a confirmation phone call from our office to verify your insurance information before scheduled well visits. You will receive an automated reminder as well.

After Hours Support:
We provide an after hours answering service for urgent medical problems. Weekend and Holiday office hours are reserved for acute or urgent medical problems. Well visits and routine recheck appointments need to be scheduled during week day office hours.

Holidays:
Our office is open in the morning on the following holidays; New Years Day, Good Friday, Memorial Day, July 4th, and Labor Day.  We are closed Thanksgiving day and Christmas day.

Co-Pay:
The patient/parent is responsible for the co-pay at the time of sevice. The co-pay will be collected before you see the provider. The co-pay is set by your insurance plan.
