Billing and Insurance

Billing: All insurance co-payments are due at the time of
service. If we do not have a contracted arrangement with your insurance plan or
you are unable to present your insurance card at the time of your appointment,
you will be expected to pay in full at the time of service. We do not generate
or handle bills out of our office. Billing questions may be directed
to Presbyterian Medical Group Customer Service at 704-384-7830 or
866-666-1279 weekdays between the hours of 8 am to 5 pm, Monday through
Friday or you may go online at https://presbyterian.patientcompass.com
.
Billing for Tests:
All insurance co-payments and
deductibles are due at the time of service. You may receive a separate bill
for your laboratory work. Labs and other tests performed outside our office will
be billed by the entity performing the test.
Insurance Plans:
We accept assignment
for most major insurance plans. Please contact your insurance carrier to confirm that
South Park Family Physicians is a provider.
Medicare Coverage:
We are a participating provider with Medicare.
ABN Waivers: Some tests deemed
necessary for your care may not be covered by Medicare or your insurance
company. If this is the case, you will be informed of the test and the reasons
for performing it. You will then be asked to sign a waiver stating the
possibility of non-coverage was explained and that you may be billed for the
test. ABN waivers are specific for Medicare.
