Who do I call if I have billing questions?
If you have billing questions please call Presbyterian Healthcare Customer Service @ 704-384-7840 or 1-866-666-1279
Why do I need to show my insurance card every time I come to the office ?
We want to keep you satisfied. By presenting your insurance card every visit we can make sure that the information is still correct in the computer system before the claim is sent to the insurance company. Getting a claim paid can be very difficult to resolve with incorrect billing informaion. Most businesses change insurance carriers yearly and it is not always in January. Sometimes only the group number will change and the remainder of the information stays the same. Something this simple can cause a denial of your claim. We want to work together to make sure that you receive your insurance benefit.
How long does it take to get an appointment?
Calling our office at the first sign of illness helps to ensure that you receive an appointment time sooner rather than later. Normally, we are able to schedule appointments within 24 hours and can schedule same-day appointments for those requiring urgent care.
What do I need to bring with me to my appointment?
Patients should bring the following items with them to their appointment : insurance card; current medications and over the counter medications; and insurance co-pay or deductible.
How do I request a prescription refill ?
If you need a refill of a prescription, please call your pharmacy and they will contact us with your request. However for some medications, it will be necessary for the patient to call the office @704-316-4979 for the refill.
What if I become ill after hours on a weekend or holiday?
You may call our office at 704-316-4979 and you will be instructed on how to reach the on-call physician. The on-call physician is focused on dealing with urgent health problems. Refills, appointments, billing questions, ect. cannot be handled by the doctor and we ask that you call the office the next business day for these issues.
